‘Bad Leaders or Failing Country’ – Brooom Nigeria …

Bad Learders or Failing Country?

BN copied from online media. its worth sharing. Speaks volume of  our situation.. Read:

The cop that loans his/her gun to  armed robbers and assassins blames it on our leaders. Could s/he do something that will help reduce crime rate? Yes

The Judge that complains corruption is killing the system? Could s/he do something about it other than blame the leaders? Yes

The Bus/Okada rider blames the leaders for hardship in the economy and lack. Yet, s/he hike transport fees or send victims to Orthopedic emergency wards regularly! Could s/he do something about it? Yes

Our people complain transportation system is poor and inadequate. They get to bus stop late and bully those they met there out of seats in a beastly manner. Others get knocked down while crossing highways with pedestrian bridges nearby! Could they do something about it? Yes

We’ve seen leaders oppress us all via looting. They however are not the LASTMA officer extorting bribes from that bus driver or Okada rider. Could the LASTMA folks do something about it? Yes

Problem is, the followers who complain about bad leadership in our polity are themselves bad leaders too. They are only lower in the oppression (food) chain and, merely waiting for their turns at the higher layers of the chain.

SEE, if we fix our tokens, they will add up and make a huge impact. We may then all do what citizens of other nations did to fix their polity – move together (United) against bad leadership.
