Fondly called Afonja, Comrade Saheed Ade Akanbi, the Special Assistant to Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on Youths Development has said youths development and involvement in politics are major concerns of the Governor and Lagos State.
The versatile youth mobilizer made this disclosure on Sunday at a town hall meeting between the All Progressives Congress Lagos East Senatorial candidate Mr. Tokunbo Abiru, APC youths and other Youth organizations in the senatorial district in respect to the forthcoming Lagos East Senatorial by-election slated for Saturday 31st of October, 2020.
They Governor’s aide in post shared on Facebook said at the meeting, he entrenched the need to be an active youth of the state by exercising his or her franchise wisely not because of the party but to help strengthen the development of the state and country at large.

“In respect to this, i pleaded on behalf of the youths and implored the candidate to ensure good appreciation and youth inclusion in his budget during, before and after the election of the senatorial district.”
” Youth indeed are useful and resourceful in all ramifications”, the statement concluded.
