MNR CONGRATULATES NIGERIANS: SOLICITS PRESIDENT TINUBU’S ADMINISTRATION TO ENGAGE ETHNIC NATIONALITIES
The Movement for National Reformation (MNR) in a press release made available to Brooom Nigeria by the National Vice-Chairman, HRH. Samuel Adai Onimisi, wishes to congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice Kashim Shettima for their victory in the recent presidential election. The MNR also congratulates the great people of Nigeria for their endurance in sustaining the country’s hard-earned democracy.
The MNR was a principal partner in the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) struggle which fought against the continued stay of the military in power. It was the foremost advocate for the return of the country to true federalism through Restructuring and also served as the parent body of the Pro-National Conference Organizations (PRONACO) which produced the Proposed Power-Sharing Constitution in which the interests of ethnic nationalities in Nigeria were adequately addressed.
The Movement considers the emergence of Tinubu’s Presidency as a historic attainment of the progressive bloc. Power, as can be seen, has now eluded the controlling height . It is therefore a significant opportunity for the progressives Nigerians to commit themselves to total and unreserved support to this government .
From a media chat with the National Secretary, Dr Philip IDAEWOR over the weekend , it is confidently noted that the track-records of the President and his Vice is credible. MNR therefore enjoins Nigerians to cooperate with the government in order to deepen our democracy and build a prosperous Nigeria that shall be the pride of all.
All is expected to support the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government in every way and everywhere as he sets out to elevate Nigeria to an enviable peak.
The MNR in this release is hereby soliciting President Tinubu to courageously engage Nigeria’s ethnic nationalities in order to find a lasting solution to Nigeria’s myriad socio-political, economic cum religious age-long problems.
It is with confident anticipation that the MNR looks forward to President Tinubu and Shettima with the hope that this administration is capable of building a new long-sought-for Nigeria.
