Borrowing Ended With Removal Of Subsidy – President Tinubu
The government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no intention to borrow from any local or foreign organisation with the removal of subsidy on petrol. The finance minister, Mr Wale Edu says the benefit of subsidy removal would be felt in various sectors aimed at boosting revenue generation and improving the business environment for all.
This revelation was made available to Brooom Nigeria at the end of the Inaugural meeting of the Federal Executive Council(FEC) in Abuja on Monday by the Minister for Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy Mr Wale Edun.
He pointed at various Palliatives that has been made available to the 36 states including the FCT as a result from the increased revenue generation and the desire of the government to elevate the living standard of Nigerians.
