- Fundamental for Good Governance: MNR Calls PBAT To Restore 1963 CFRN With Contemporary Realities – Brooom
Lagos, Nigeria – The Chief Media Editor of Brooom Nigeria, Prince Babatunde Kolawole has reinstated the call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
to reconsider the appeal made by the Movement for National Reformation (MNR) for the restoration of the 1963 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (CFRN) with contemporary realities to lay a solid foundation for improved governance.
Speaking recently at a Press Statement (signed by MNR Vice Chairman, HRM Dr. Samuel Onimisi and the National Secretary, Dr Philip Idaewor) which was well attended by men of the press was held at the Executive Board Room of Nicon Luxury Hotels Abuja.
The Leader of team MNR, Da Jonathan Akuns JP, emphasized that “Nigeria has only tasted a people’s friendly government for 2yrs, 3Months and 2 weeks and the need to give due consideration to this imperative to revive 1963 CFRN as a social context in resolving the structural problems that afflict the polity.
The President of Brooom, Prince Babatunde who is also the promoter of the Cleaner Nigeria Project(CNP), joins the growing chorus of voices advocating for constitutional reform, citing the need for a more effective and efficient system of government as envisage by MNR.
The event also had in attendance Comrade David Ajetunmobi, Representative of SW MNR; Rev James Pam as Representative of NC MNR among other delegates.
The President’s response to this call is eagerly awaited as the nation continues to grapple with challenges of governance and development.
