Rotimi Amaechi’s Call to Anarchy: Irresponsible and Unpatriotic
The All Progressives Congress (APC) condemns Rotimi Amaechi’s recent comments inciting Nigerian youth to protest the high cost of living. As a former Minister and Governor, Amaechi’s remarks are insensitive and hypocritical, given his long history of benefiting from state resources.
This message was contained in a press release signed by the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Barr. Felix Morka. He said Amaechi’s attempted to feign empathy and stir violence is misleading and dangerous. Nigerians won’t be swayed by his partisan tactics, having chosen the current administration through the ballot.
We urge citizens to remain patient and supportive of President Tinubu’s efforts to transform the economy. Amaechi should focus on addressing Rivers state’s crisis rather than stoking national anarchy.
