MNR Set For Round Table Discussions to Tackle Nigeria’s Critical Issues
The Directorate of Research & Strategy Movement for National Reformation (MNR) is set to host two crucial Round Table discussions in November 2024, focusing on Ethnic Balance of Power in Nigeria and Pathway to Good Governance in Nigeria. These topics have been at the forefront of discussions in recent months, with experts emphasizing their resolution as vital for Nigeria’s growth and stability.
According to a media release signed by Prof Igho Natufe Chairman MNR Constitution Review Committee, he double as the Director, Directorate of Research and Strategy MNR and made available to the Chief Media Editor of Brooom Nigeria, Prince Babatunde Kolawole the discussion focus on:
* Ethnic Balance of Power in Nigeria on November 23, 2024
* Pathway to Good Governance in Nigeria on November 30, 2024
The discussions aim to address key challenges, including:
* Understanding Balance of Power: Exploring the complexities of power distribution in a multi-ethnic polity
* Addressing Equilibrium of Power: Strategies for achieving balance and stability in Nigeria’s power structure
* Rudiments of Good Governance: Examining the fundamental principles of effective governance
The Directorate invites colleagues to present papers on these topics, with three presenters accommodated per topic. Interested participants must indicate their interest on or before November 9, 2024. Additional dates will be scheduled if necessary.
These Round Table discussions are expected to produce valuable MNR templates, providing actionable solutions for Nigeria’s critical issues. Experts believe that resolving these challenges will pave the way for Nigeria’s progress and development.
