IBADAN BIDS FAREWELL TO CHIEF MUEEZ ADEGBOYEGA AKANDE
Ibadan, Nigeria: Today we laid to rest one of its most revered sons, Chief Mueez Adegboyega Akande, a philanthropist, politician, devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, the Otun Parakoyi of Ibadan land. The burial ceremonies, which began on October 23, were a testament to his impact on the community.

The festivities kicked off with a White Disco Party at Manhattan Hall, beside Signature Tower, Eleyele, on October 23. This was followed by a Christian Wake Keeping at Winners State Headquarters, Bashorun, between 4-5 pm. Finally, Chief Akande was laid to rest at private cemetery after a church service.

– Akeredolu Alfred, Close friend of Chief Akande and younger brother to the former Gov of Ondo State
– Other notable personalities include the Chief Media Editor of Brooom Nigeria, Prince Babatunde Kolawole, Mr & Mrs Lanre Akeredolu, Alhaji Shina Ajala, Hon Adeyemi Gbolagade among many others.
