In a heartwarming display of kindness, the management of Bridge of Faith Foundation (BFF) has provided a newly constructed boat to Whanyinna Children Foundation (WCF) in Makoko, Lagos. This generous donation ensures that pupils can travel to school stress-free and at no cost.
The presentation took place on Friday 6th December, 2024 at the school premises, where the Lagos Liaison Officer, Prince Babatunde Kolawole handed over the new boat to the school’s founder, Mr. Noah Shemede. Honourable. Shemede who insisted to be there during the presentation of the boat expressed his gratitude to the donors Particularly the Director, International Affairs, Dr. Marg Royle, and Douglas Taylor, Executive Director of BFF.
This is coming after BFF donated dozens of 40 leaves exercise books, biros, pencils, crayons among other writing materials in September 2024 for thesame Pupils.
The new boat is expected to make a significant impact on the education of WCF pupils, who previously faced challenges in commuting to school. With this donation, BFF has demonstrated its commitment to bridging the gap in education and improving the lives of underprivileged children in Nigeria.
Prince Babatunde also called Brooom is a Nigeria born and based writer, a political journalist, political consultant, publisher and a businessman. Almost a decade now, he has been involved in reporting political activities affecting grassroot development's. He has helped to proffers several solutions to improving lives of many Nigerians especially poor people. His group's is presently working on a mission to develop a template programme for a Cleaner Nigeria and more.
