Awka, Anambra State – In an electrifying finale, Federal Science and Technical College (FSTC) Awka emerged victorious at the 2024 Bridge of Faith Foundation (BFF) Football Tournament. The thrilling competition, which kicked off on October 16, 2024, featured 16 schools from across the state, with FSTC Awka ultimately claiming the championship title.

2. Comprehensive Science and Technical College Nawfia
After a series of intense matches, FSTC Awka and Ezi-Awka Community Secondary School faced off in the final showdown. Meanwhile, Comprehensive Science and Technical College (CSTC) Nawfia secured third place with a 2-0 victory over defending champions Federal Government College (FGC) Nise.
The final match drew a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators, who cheered on as FSTC Awka was crowned the champion. In addition to the coveted trophy, awards, medals, and trophies were presented to the deserving teams. Participating schools and their coaches also received participation fees.
Comr. Izuogu John, Nigeria Coordinator of the BFF, in his closing remarks expressed heartfelt gratitude to the tournament’s sponsors, including Dr. Marg Royle, Douglas Taylor, and Chief Felix Molokwu.
The BFF, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education and sports development among young people, organized the tournament. With promises of an even bigger and better event next year, the foundation continues to make a positive impact on the lives of young Nigerians.
