The APC-USA Georgia branch paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Prof. Francis Osita Onukwuli at his internment ceremony in Umuoji, Ndemili, Anambra State, Nigeria. Former branch Chairman Hon Kunle Masha ensured the branch’s presence at the ceremony, which took place yesterday March 7th, 2025.
Honorable Okechukwu Onyenbuagu, alias Surplus, represented the APC-USA Georgia branch, paying respects to Prof. Onukwuli’s remarkable legacy and bidding him a final farewell. The ceremony was a poignant celebration of Prof. Onukwuli’s life, marking the final goodbye to a renowned academic, politician, and pillar of the Igbo community.
Prof. Onukwuli’s impressive career spanned mathematics and computer science education, with notable positions at Spelman College, Morris Brown College, and Atlanta Metropolitan College. His contributions to the Igbo community and academia have left an indelible mark, earning him the respect and admiration of the APC-USA community.
