In a show of solidarity, the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has pledged ₦200 million to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid. The group, a prominent support group in the Eastern Nigeria, made the announcement today during the inauguration of its Imo State chapter.
SERHA National Coordinator, Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, declared the group’s unwavering commitment to Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, citing the President’s marvelous achievements in infrastructure, education, and inclusive governance. Part of the group plans includes to launch a tour across all the 95 local government areas and 2,344 wards in the South-East’s to galvanize grassroots support for Tinubu’s re-election.

The ₦200 million pledge will be used to secure the APC presidential nomination form and fund campaign logistics. SERHA also distributed empowerment items, including motorcycles, mini buses, and sewing machines, to promote self-reliance and community development among local residents.

Enwere praised Tinubu’s leadership, highlighting major federal initiatives benefiting the region, such as the $3 billion Eastern Rail Line project and the establishment of the South East Development Commission (SEDC). The group remains committed to ensuring Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, affirming that “this is Southern Nigeria’s turn to complete our eight years.”
