The Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, has extended his warmest greetings to residents as they usher in the new year.
In a statement signed by the council boss and made available online, Johnson expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the gift of life and collective progress recorded in 2025, acknowledging the resilience, cooperation, and trust of Alimosho residents.
He said the year 2026 presents renewed opportunities to deepen development, strengthen social cohesion, and consolidate gains made across communities, saying Alimosho has demonstrated unity in diversity.
The Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-centred governance, improved service delivery, and policies that uplift lives and livelihoods.
“In this New Year, we reaffirm our resolve to pursue inclusive growth, enhanced security, youth empowerment, infrastructural development, and sustainable economic opportunities for all,” he said.
Johnson urged residents to embrace the New Year with hope, discipline, and renewed faith in their collective future, saying together, they will build a more prosperous, peaceful, and progressive Alimosho.
He wished every household good health, success, and abundant blessings throughout the year.
