The group noted that the resolution of the dispute marks a significant milestone in the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to rebuild trust in public institutions, invest in human capital development, and secure Nigeria’s future through education, innovation, and knowledge-driven growth.

“President Tinubu’s approach has restored hope, stability, and confidence in the Nigerian university system,” the statement read. “RHAF particularly applauds the President for recognising academics as critical partners in nation-building rather than adversaries.”

The statement called on all stakeholders in the education sector to sustain dialogue, mutual trust, and cooperation to ensure the continued growth and development of Nigeria’s education system.
