MORENIKE SET TO CONSTRUCT A MODERN CAR PARK FOR THE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC THAT PATRONISES MARKETS IN AND AROUND IGANDO.
As part of infrastructural developments to meet the present standards of new Lagos.
The Executive Chairman of Igando/ Ikotun LCDA, Chief Mrs Morenike Adesina Williams embarked on the construction of CAR PARK in front of Multi-purpose market Igando, so as to :-
1. To reduce the transport bottleneck around Igando junction.
2. To reduce the effect of packing on the major road.
3. To keep the environment clean and give the market a befitting face lift.
While Addressing the owners of shanty and containers previously occupied the proposed Car Park. The Chairman, implore them to bear with government as it is not in the interest of the government to dislodge them where they are making their daily earnings.
She then promised to create space for them in the market as c-clamps for those that would not be able to afford lock-up shops. 
Council Exco, Management, legislatures and all other relevant arms of government were present at the site of the Car Park.
