Do not throw mud into the well that gave you water-South Africa proverb.
For a while now Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is dominating the discussions ahead of the 2023 presidency, the polity seems to be heating up with Tinubu set to play a pivotal role in the 2023 general elections.
It is expected, as from time immemorial no other role has been assigned to Tinubu by mother nature.
Since his exit as Lagos State Governor, Tinubu has been at the forefront of genuine restructuring of the country.
Funny enough his blueprints and ideas are noble and integral to the piloting of the affairs of Nigeria.
ACTION…
It is call to duty and the forces at war towards the 2023 general elections have started releasing their tankers and ground forces in preparation for both attacks and counter-attacks.
Consultations and realignments are the order of the day as contending forces are identifying their possible allies needed in prosecuting what may be seen as the last battle for the old FORCES.
If a total change of leadership is envisaged like the youths are glamouring for then it can only occur after the 2023 elections, time is far spent for a drastic change to occur that would shake the present foundation of these old recycled leaders.
2023 would be a litmus test and a warning to the old warhorses that the time is fast ticking away for the required change sought.
“Never destroy the boat that ferried you, you might find another river to cross.”
Today Tinubu’s early battles are coming from within. The Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi is accused as the forerunner set to ambush the advancement of Tinubu and his ground forces.
They say Fayemi has abandoned the South-West agenda to act the NORTHERN SCRIPT.
So what are the expectations and the realities?
The truth of the matter is that Kayode Fayemi who is a first-hand beneficiary of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s school of philanthropy can not stop Tinubu’s advancement in any way.
Laughable as it sounds but the reality is that Kayode Fayemi who is tagged a betrayal by the majority of his people and the South-West leaders can not effectively demystify the Jagaban.
Fayemi’s political calculation is simple, Ogbeni would leverage on his chairmanship of the Nigeria Governors’ forum to strike a deal with the Northern cabal hellbent on retaining the presidency.
He would via for the presidency seeking the South-West slot to edge out Tinubu but would finally settle for the vice-presidential slot under a serving northern Governor.
From the antecedents of recent elections globally, politics is getting dirtier when it comes to electioneering campaigns, the United States election is a case study, who would imagine Donald Trump would have shared palliatives to buy votes?
Not to talk of the bitter rivalry preceding the elections and even after.
Fayemi’s first and second coming as Ekiti State Governor had the large input of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who unfortunately he has decided to rubbish all in an attempt to fulfil the northern agenda.
His many battles in Ekiti State with his party members and his predecessor, Ayo Fayose would consume him before he even gets close to the perimeter fence of Tinubu’s baseline.
Fact-check revels Fayemi is an imposter vying the presidency.
A man that lacks the sense of gratitude should just quietly walk away than being ungrateful to his benefactor.
Do not be like the mosquito that bites the owner of the house, a million and one Kayode Fayemi is no comparison for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the Jagaban of Borgu. Osigwe Omo- Ikirodah from Abuja reporting for;
