The Action Alliance (AA) Ogun State Chapter held an awareness Campaign in the city of Ifo recently. This event which took place at JIbsod Hotels & Halls, Vespa Bus Stop Ifo on thursday 25th March, 2021 witnessed State Excos, Party Leaders, Delegates that cut across the three senatorial districts of the state and party faithfuls trooping in.
In the welcome address of the state chairman, Comrade SanyaOlu Abayomi while acknowledging new nembers just joining the party assured members of equal right for all. He also spoke about their party (AA) understanding the challenges of the masses. The strong presence of AA in seventeen (17) Local govt areà of the state among other issues were discussed.
The host and party chairman of AA in Ifo LG, Mr Akinyemi Olusegun during an interview with our correspondence said “AA is the reigning party!! It is the party for the youths, women n elderly”. He called on the leadership of the party to support the party with a Secretariat so that members and supporters can hold meetings regularly and access new members.
Princess Olubunmi Adebiyi, Ogun Central Senatorial Woman Leader ftom ward 4 Agbado in Ifo LG was quoted during her chat with Brooom Nigeria that “”AA is hungry for governance and will deliver on all the failed promises by the ruling government”. She also spoke on the spate of bad roads in Alagbado area and its environs as a major reason for the high cost of food stuff. She called on Youth to ignore call by some corrupt politicians to use them for thuggery.
The chairman of the State Think Thank Committee, Hon Dapo Adeyemi while addressing delegates and supporters reassured them that imposition of candidates does not exist in AA. He spoke on the pattern to be adopted by the Leadership. 3C principles will be used for the selection of candidates. Character, compassion & competence. He charged members to continue to hold meetings regular and to mobilise new members into the party.
