OGUN STATE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY 24th JULY, 2021
As a follow up to the Guidelines and Time Table released by OGSIEC for the conduct of elections into the offices of Local Government Chairman and Councillors, the ACTION ALLIANCE (AA) wishes to inform her members and the general public as follows.
The Party shall commence sales of Expression of Interest forms for intending Aspirants from Monday 10th to Friday 14th May, 2021.
The EOI forms shall be free to female members who have met all their financial obligations up till 30th April, 2021 while all the male members, apart from meeting their financial obligations shall pay #10,000.00 (Ten thousand Naira) only for the forms.
The deadline for the submission of forms shall be Monday 17th May, 2021.
Party Primaries shall hold on Saturday 22nd May, 2021 for all the Aspirants who obtained EOI forms.
Appeal for the Primaries shall be heard on Monday 24th May, 2021.
The Candidates who emerge from the Primary Elections shall pay nomination fees as follows:-
(a) Chairmanship Candidates:- #50,000.00
(b) Councillorship Candidates :- #20,000.00
(c) All Female Candidates and People living with Disabilities (PWD):- Free
