A former health commissioner and leading 2023 governorship hopeful in Oyo state commiserate with the government and the entire people of Oyo kingdom on the demise of the Alafin of Oyo Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Hon Adeduntan message was monitored on Radio Nigeria Ibadan by Brooom Nigeria were he expressed shock over the death of the great monarch that was a symbol of culture and tradition. He added that the 83 years old King who spent 52 years on the throne of his fore fathers has reaffirmed Oyo Kingdom as a land of peace.
Dr Azeez Adeduntan prayed for God to forgive him his sins this month of Ramadan, grant him eternal rest and give the family strength to bear the loss.
The Osi Basorun of Ibadanland, Alhaji Bashorun Azeez Popoola Adeduntan also described the death of the Alaafin of Oyo, HRM Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi as a huge loss to the Oyo kingdom and Nigeria in general.
