Awka, Anambra State – September 12, 2024
The Bridge of Faith Foundation has made significant strides in Nigeria over the past decade, expanding its activities beyond Awka to benefit more communities. The Foundation Chairman Chief Felix Molokwu in a media chat with the Chief Media Editor of Brooom Nigeria, Prince Babatunde Kolawole, said the foundation’s initiatives include caregiving for the elderly, relief material donations to orphanages, mathematics competitions, and annual football tournaments for secondary schools among other activities.
The foundation principals also includes Mr Douglas Taylor, Executive Director; Dr Marge Royle, Director of Intl Affairs and Comrade Izuogu John Nigerian Coordinator. The organization which started initially by serving one orphanage home now supports multiple homes across Anambra State and other cities in Nigeria. The football tournament has grown from four to twelve participating schools, with more seeking to join.
Despite the progress made, the foundation faces challenges, such as the need for a better-equipped office, office clerk, dedicated smartphone, and reliable transportation. Additional requirements include a weighing balance and sports equipment.
The Nigerian Coordinator Comrade Izuogu John in his remarks expresses gratitude to sponsors and benefactors, assuring them of its commitment to integrity and growth. It however seeks support to address the growing challenges and expand its scope of work. The organization wish all correspondence should be sent to: BridgeofFaith@comcast.net
