Honorable Princess Gloria Omono Okojie, niece of the late Chief Anthony Enahoro, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to prioritize constitutional reform and true federalism in Nigeria. She believes that reverting to the 1963 Constitution would be a great honor for her late uncle. Additionally, she requests that President Tinubu hold a joint sitting of the Senate and House of Representatives every October 1st to commemorate Chief Enahoro, a key figure in Nigeria’s independence. She believes this would be a meaningful way to honor his legacy.
“This honour is overdue,” Princess Gloria said. “We must recognize and celebrate our heroes who fought for democracy.”
